Different areas do seem to get varying amounts of d2ds. I notice most of the town centre walks in our office don't often get more than 1 or 2. Walks such as the one I have been on for quite some time (yes, I am making a distinction there because the walk isn't actually mine) usually get at least 3 (though I don't know why, it's hardly in the nicest of areas), and the rurals are having a good week if they get any less than 4. The problem with the walk I have been on for quite some time is that it has a lot of delivery points on it, which means that 4 or more d2ds tends to suffocate me, due to the amount of boxes and bundles on either side of the fitting. We have an a4 d2d this week with a number of pages, I've got six bundles (of 100), which are piled up to the sky. They weigh a bloody ton and all. Prepping them into the frame is a nightmare as each one takes up half a slot. I also have double slots (they will not fit in once the mail has been prepped, or if the d2ds are prepped first, the mail won't fit in).

Yay for d2ds. Though personally, I don't have a problem with them. Just go in, prep them, book the overtime/argue with a manager if they cause me any personal grief.
