It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Errr, that's not for Door2Dustbins, the £20 a week is a delivery supplement. When you had 4, you were mugged off like the rest of us.

Re: again no d2d?
it varies per walk, dont do one in rich areas, unless you want 6 d2d.

If I went four weeks without any Door To Doors I just might feel a bit guilty about receiving my weekly £20.60 'Delivery Supplement'bensonhedge wrote:must be 4 weeks now we havent had any d2d.infact since they went into workload most i have had is 4 but generally dont get any.20 pound a week...lovely,glad i voted yes now for bt2010.anybody else the same?

Re: again no d2d?
Different areas do seem to get varying amounts of d2ds. I notice most of the town centre walks in our office don't often get more than 1 or 2. Walks such as the one I have been on for quite some time (yes, I am making a distinction there because the walk isn't actually mine) usually get at least 3 (though I don't know why, it's hardly in the nicest of areas), and the rurals are having a good week if they get any less than 4. The problem with the walk I have been on for quite some timepokos27 wrote:it varies per walk, dont do one in rich areas, unless you want 6 d2d.
Yay for d2ds. Though personally, I don't have a problem with them. Just go in, prep them, book the overtime/argue with a manager if they cause me any personal grief.
