Different collection times

On Monday all our collection duties are changing to Firms first and only one post box collection after that, not three as it was, with no real explanation. Is this happening anywhere else.

Been like that at our office a few years now. They blame it on poor postings. PO's and boxes still get their 3-a-day

Only a very small percentage of the mail we collect comes from post boxes and yet they take up a very large proportion of our collections (i can't remeber the exact figures). Because of this the number of relief collections from post boxes is being cut. All our rural boxes are final collection only with only about a dozen of the heaviest boxes (out of about 120) getting relief collections now.

Two weeks ago I had 5 boxes deleted from the P A D route menu and told not to collect from them in the week
only Sats. Rural Duty like.
