Changeover -Should have some driving experience?

Say if you just passed your driving test not long ago, and havent driven since thus no experience on driving on your own - would it be incredebly hard to pass your changeover?

whats a changeover? is it a driving assement if so no it should be easy as you have not had a chance to have picked up bad habbits

if its your rm driving assesment you cant pass or fail it,, they just give you a risk rating

You will pass the changeover providing you don't kill anybody.
If you do kill someone you may have to re-sit the assessment.
It really depends how desperate your manager is.
Go out into the yard and look for the oldest,biggest heap of s**t (excluding your DOM).
That is what you will be driving....best get some practice.

A guy in our office failed it three times. Mind you we are not convinced he actually has a driving license because the picture on his looks nothing like him

the guy who did my assesment from the AA told me, it wasnt down to them to pass or fail you, they just hand in a risk assesment to your dom

This was a guy from the AA too. Maybe you just have to be really really bad to fail.

As spen says the guy from the AA gives his report to your DOM and he makes the decision based on the risk assessment but it does leave a paper trail so if you're really,really off the scale bad then you will not be allowed to drive for RM until you have re-taken the test.

One guy never driven for years, when he had his drivers assessment, he never got past the depot gate, that must have been the shortest change over ever.

WOW that bad i am blind in one eye and i passed it and my contact lens came out of my good eye and had to pull over to put it back in but then i have the force
