Went into work today and got told to only take out want i knew i could deliver in my time and not to prep the rest,rather than cutting off, and to leave for next day, is this not willful delay?,they have said there will be no ot as no money available, i know its not my problem but what do you say to jo public when youre not delivering there mail,i thought we were a public service or maybe not as the case may be!

DGP what will flagging it up to the Area Union do. All we get is email after email from Billy ranting on about getting local MP to vote against privitisation. What is Dave Ward doing during the dismal failings of his agreements with RM. They are doing nothing because they are being paid to do nothing.

We stopped being a public service, the very minute that Leighton and Crozier were appointed in 2003 by the last Labour government.

The wealthy have a grip on all the major political parties now.
Anything that smacks of being a public service, and not a profit-before-all-else, cut-throat, hard-nosed business.......Is doomed, fooking doomed.

No amount of canvassing, no amount of lobbying, no amount of voting for a Westminster-bound charlatan, will change this God-awful situation our people endure. No.
A more robust remedy is called for, believe me.

This is happening everywhere as far as i'm aware,but whilst it shouldn't be happening,what is the core issue?
it seems obvious that mail is being cleared in readiness for forthcoming bulk deliveries,council tax,census,but the figures that the mail centres are supplying are grossly inaccurate,in fairness,deliveries can't plan properly,so we don't have the resources to deal with it.
My own view on it now is,why worry,i have no doubt as the previous poster said that they've been told to 'deal with it' without paying overtime,but i don't care if i'm on IPS till 1.00pm,i'll only take enough mail to take me to my time.

Haven't you heard? Royal Fail's run out of money They can't afford to pay us any Over-Time. Anything to do with the end of the Financial Year looming and Management(?) Bonuses being at risk.
