Not a chance in hell that Amazon would buy RM, there's a remote chance that they may want PF but not us lot.

what is the point of amazon buying royal mail we deliver all there work

No single company will buy us.
We'll be bought out by Deutsche Post, TNT, DHL and perhaps a small stake for investment from Amazon etc. We will then be split into several companies, i.e. RM distributon, RM delivery etc and all the good stuff [bad stuff] such as the USO will be lumped up into a sham company and dumped, probably back on the government.
A massive boost to infra-stucture for the big names for a dirt cheap price. No competition because they are all in it together. No ongoing costs because the USO, pension and union will just be ignored with the government it has been given back to.
Sad times ahead. :(

Weren't we all told a while back that RM had lost their contract with Amazon?... probably around the time of strike rumours!!!
