I think they have to give 4 weeks written notice
Last letter is 3pm town, 4pm rural which is set by the regulator not royal mail!
I would suggest you contact your area rep very fast, if you have no joy contact your div reps and or HQs
The agreement states most duties will normally start no later than 7am with 70% complete by 14:30

Further to what I've put in the "union" thread...

My depot were told that the final bit of mail from our mail centre would arrive later in the morning than it has done for years, something around 0900, but there is going to be mail to sort earlier than this. I think there was talk of something like an 0730 start for full-timers, once this kicks in. As to when this will happen, pick a random date and then possibly add 28 (for the formal notice)!

I wonder if it may be linked to distribution functions in MCs being transferred to logistics, possibly they're gonna change the dispatch times of work between MCs and DOs, possibly sending the stuff out later, so drivers aren't needed for so long during the time of the night when night shift allowance is payable

Must be given 28 days notice, usually made up to 30, and in writing, end off. Anything else use 1 or 2 fingers, bollix or whatever insult you feel free to use.
