Have you recieved your Spikies / snow chains?

So after all the publicity RM put out about us all being given winter safety gear who actually recieved Spikies or Snow chains?

The pair l received lasted less than 2 hours into my delivery, was told by my manager that it must have been a random faulty pair but another 6 posties in my office must have got the random pairs too.
Plus told that replacement spikes COULD be ordered but havent arrived, and that we are to hand them back in over the summer months hten re-issued with them in time for the next bad weather period.

Received mine at the start of the snow......................but we had to hand them back, RM must be really short of money when we have to hand our safety gear back.

Quite interesting so far. I have yet to see a pair of spikies or snow chains but thats not really surprising as our DO is tight as feck!

Its interesting to see how much truth there was in Royal Mail reports that they were ordered but not recieved from suppliers!
