I have been told, that we may be allowed cash in 50% of the share value this April.
Anyone know anymore about this.

Still waiting for them to be valued,no one knows if it will all be done by April or not.
And according to the T&C's of the plan we will be able to sell either 50% or the whole lot if you wish to sometime this year.

i think we will get nothing, because the business will say we haven't the money to buy the shares back,,, i'll believe it when i see it,, the money, and not until then... watch this space........

i twisted an arm of someone who works in hr
she stated
year 1 400 quid
tear 2 200 quid
year 3 200 quid total 800 quid
minus 200 quid deductions and we will see 300 quid this year and 300 quid next april

Your contact at HR may have confused the 3 dividend payments of Colleagues shares which is part of the BT2010 agreement and is £200, £600 and £200 - over the life time of the BT2010 and is tied in with revisions not fixed dates.
The payouts due soon or in 2012 are 711 shares at the value RM place on them at the time, and are in effect when you sell them in 2011 and/or 2012 and that will be the death of them - no more payouts linked to colleagueshares.

An LTB went out yesturday from HQ saying......We have received a number of enquiries from Branches requesting an update on the current position with Colleagueshare.
Recently, the Union had written to Royal Mail on a number of issues associated with the Colleagueshare Scheme. We have been told that Royal Mail are currently awaiting the outcome of an independent valuation of the scheme.
Once this information is available we will be meeting with the company and will provide a full report to Branches in due course.
