cwfs cashing in my money

Hiya does anybody now how it works if i cash in my money from my plan early.
I pay £3.17 a week and have done for 5 years,so i have paid £824.20 into it and i know i won't get that back but does anybody know how much i would get back?

From experience :sad: 'could' be less than half of what you've paid in.
I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

I cashed in my one early and got back about £200 losing about £500.

Give them a bell and tell them you wish to surrender your policy,they will tell you there and then how much you will get.

Sometimes they don't tell you and if they do it's only a very rough guess.

But when they send out the cancellation forms if you feel it's not good enough then you don't have to go through with it.

And the area rep gets £100 commission for 5 mins of setting it up. I lost about 15% for surrendering it early but thats a rough guess. But it worked out the best time for me to cancel it and retain most of the money i put into it. Crap scheme end of story. It was a 5 year term for me got out after 3 years and glad i did.
