I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

This is probably one of the reasons we are being run into the ground, by the end of it we will owe them money.

I can't understand why its taking them so long to 're-value' or come to think of it why RM are so cagey as to the formula they work to when re-valueing.

How do you value a company that "allegedly" can't honour it's obligations?
I think that makes it technically insolvent...and worth feck all. :neutral:

Technically you MIGHT be right but in reality the Taxpayer would (and has) come to the rescue as a Govt. owned asset.

was the buy back 50% 2011and 50% 2012 part of the BT2010 deal of the century?

if they were valued at a very low price are we bound to selling them back or can we hold on till a later date?

If they are based on the value of the whole Royal Mail Group and the Post Office is separated from RMG wouldn't that have an effect on the value?
