we went on strike for this ..revisions with 30 per cent more added to walks ..up to 6 d2ds a week .but for only a quarter of the payment that ..6 ..d2ds should bring. even less for part timers ..royal mail must have thought all their christmases had come at once ...can anyone from the CWU who reads this please post a response as to how this was the deal of the century ..more work load ..double d2ds ..and loss of earnings ..i await your response ..if you can but dare to

We have a 39hr week...
We have trolleys to take the weight of the shoulder....
We have 11 part-time members made up to full-time.....
We have 3 new entrants.....
We have been paid £800 of the LS payments.....
All of our staff including part-timers are on a higher hourly rate flowing through to O/T.....
The use of PCOD has ceased........

yes i agree it was voted in ..but how many actually saw past the £1000 revision payment ..that maybe blinded them to what it was they were voting for ..money should not play any part in any agreement ....£1000 is soon gone ..the extra work load demands wont go as quick

Royal mail is Full of Selfish individuals who don't know the first thing about solidarity and principles, without even mentioning morals!
Most of the Dick-Heads in my office just looked at the agreements and thought, "Yeah that's alright it won't effect me very much and look at all that money that's on offer " (Obviously the FULL amount because they're Full-Time.)
My Personal view is the only thing that stopped some of them voting things in was that they would be expected to do the Full Day's work! You know those 8 hours a day that they'd been getting paid to do for years, and actually knocking off 1-2 hours early ever day! No wonder RM was trying to claw back some savings. Some of these arseholes have been taking the piss for years. (Apologies if you're an arsehole that hasn't been taking the piss for years! )

i agree mate, in our office men are finishing at 11am out the door at 8,20 and legging it round without a break
