Help - getting shifted from 5:30am start

Right, last year I started at 6:30am till I got shifted to the SPDO and was asked to start at 5:30am ( to maintain numbers on IPS ), and I was happy with that. Now I'm back at the town office this week, I continued this ( as AFAIK after 13 weeks, the new start time becomes your de facto official start time, and I wanted to use it as extra pressure so I can get a FT contract ), and no problems until today with late mail, and I've been told that I must now shadow the FTs longs & shorts & come in no earlier than 7 hours before the start time, which means on a Tuesday I start at 6am, but on a Friday I won't start till 6:50am.

The rep and assistant rep weren't around today.....it seems like a conspiracy, but I don't want to credit my managers with that level of cognative capability

1: Can I tell the DIM to stick his change of start time from 5:30 where he likes? And if so, how should I tell him?

2: If I can't keep my 5:30am starts, will I also have to be f*cked around with constantly changing start times ( FTs all start at 5:30, other PTs get switched around ) or could I argue that it is discrimination between FT & PT?

If anyone can help & they also have links to definitive law that would massively help also ( quoting which act & what paragraph & sections are relevent might just wipe the smirk off my DOM's mug ) *in edit, I've had a shufti at direct.gov, and some decent advice there, but there's no "chapter & verse", or even saying which Acts are relevent*

Some of our staff have done 9 years with no FT contract and are still on 25hrs, 35hrs after less than 5 years is good for RM.

I'm not pissing on your parade BUT the simple FACT is is that RM are not doing (EDIT: Permanent) FT contracts you can be as nice and as helpful as you want you can kiss any number of managers ar*ses but if you think its going to get you a FT contract then your deluding yourself. Just accept your lot.... there are many many people working in RM at the moment that would jump through the eye of a needle for what you have. RM won't be renewing some peoples 12 week contracts purely coz theres no work for them. Would you rather be one of them?

yeah the guy above is right. we all know how it works. FT contracts can still be given but at that most they will just be temp, example mine is temp and that could change after the revision to either perm or most likely back down to part time.

Ive learn t it doesn't matter if i have worked almost every day off since last march and never been off sick and always said yes to them, it makes no difference.

Now, I've been working for RM for a while so am full time and on the not too bad Final Salary Pension scheme BUT I'm still wondering if I'll still have a job next year what, with all the changes. Will I be made compulsorily redundant? etc etc Right now people just need to keep there heads down, eye and ears open and be thankful that you have (whatever) money coming in regularly each week. There I've said it!

Right, sorry for the abuse, BUT, I find it no more abusive than you accusing me of being enthusiastic, or kissing lino arse ( saying that to my face could lead to me demonstrating how offensive I find that )

Seeing as you you missed it, My DOM WANTS me to go running around to his beck & call, at the times that suit him best & cheapest - I want the proof or at least the legislation that can tell him to go get f****d, so I can carry on making his life as awkward ( and expensive ) as bleeding possible, right up to & beyond the point he is begging & pleading to his DSM to allow to give one annoying scrote ( me! ) a FT contract.

Now, Indy, I've read your posts many times, and they have often been informative and useful.....please don't fail me now!

alright it wont be common but still possible in some scenarios

That was my first hope....till Ashford went stage 3 / thermonuclear, and all of TN has been contaminated by fall out ( sorry, I've been at the gin, so I feel really pleased with the similie )
