If you dont rate your reps?

What options have you got if you think your rep isnt doing the job properly? Lots of rumours going around bout them feathering there own nest (rep has bad sick record so maybe the managers have them over a barrel) and that they may be considering a management course? Massive changes going on at the mo and we never seem to have meetings or vote on anything these days.

Depends what you mean by you...you the individual or you the collective office majority.

Does it need to be a majority? So many have there heads buried in the sand with the "i dont give a s**t attitude" that it may have to be the few who do care that do something about it.

Well yes it does - they are voted in originally (unless they run unoposed). To displace them or enter a vote of no confidence you have to get a majority of the vores.

The only other way is to convince them to retire and then stand in their stead, although this may not need a vote how strong will your support be if you are not elected.

BTW before you even get that far has anyone stepped up to the plate and annouced they are willing to take the position, have you. A vacant reps position in my opinion is more detsructive than one filled by a nest featherer.

Sometimes a rep just needs a kick up the arse.
If you put your issues in writing...get at least a fair few members to endorse it and give it to your rep at least you are giving him a chance to respond.
If this has no effect then you will need to move on to the more formal process of moving him on but i have to say you WILL need the support of the majority of members otherwise it will be chaos.

doesn't matter what you do,even if you have 3/4 of the office voting for a no confidence vote,the rep can still hang on in place,as happened in our office ............ will be interesting to be told im blethering though,if this is wrong perhaps someone like dingo or daz can let me know
