NO STRIKE AGREEMENT
With the suspension of I/A and the agreement that no EX/ACTION OR STRIKES will be the norm, this leaves my office with a problem. We recently received and got a rule 13 result, but the problem is that we have to take I/A before the 3rd sept to keep the ballot alive. CAN ANNYBODY ADVISE

Check with area as you might be able to do what SE/SW London are doing and go on strike for an hour to keep the ballot legal.

Rule 13 is when a BRANCH asks HQ for a Ballot for IA on local issues.
1. The NEC, Annual Conference, Special Conference or a properly convened Branch Meeting may in furtherance of the Union's objectives decide to authorise, endorse, call or take industrial action, including strike action. All such action must be within the law and in accordance with, and in compliance of, all statutory obligations, inclusive of ballots etc. Where a Branch decides to take action to protect immediate local interests, the General Secretary and NEC must be informed.
2. For the avoidance of doubt it is confirmed that nothing contained in these Rules empowers a Branch or any other person, committee, group or body of persons to authorise, endorse, call or take industrial action without there being a statutory ballot and compliance in all other respects with the requirements of Part V of the Trade Union and Labour Relations (Consolidation) Act 1992 as amended or replaced from time to time.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

In My Honest Opinion
A sticky or Announcement are at the top of each Forum.
Announcements are usually very important posts
Sticky's are usually very helpful/kinda important threads
