The banking of hours was part of P&M but it never reached the stage where it was implemented but you can be asked to work 30 minutes over to cover unforeseen workloads, just remember that you can be held in your office and made to do any work that will take you up to your contracted hours.

ignore the other posts,im a unit rep & no they cannot bank hours or claw them back form another day, hours are to be utilized on a daily basis its their problem if they cannot fill your hours on a tuesday. but my advise to you if you were in my ofiice wud be dont come in early,dont use your car& dont come back early,if your doing any of those you are f***ing the job up & asking for problems!

No hes been a gaffer for years and he is a f**king dick! got back today he gave me and my mate 4 packets at 2.25pm got back 10 mins late put it in overtime book, he is adamant on busy days he can make us do upto 30 mins xtra! complete cock!

no no no,the 30 minuite flexability rule from 2007 states that he can (ASK) you to work 30 minuits over in the case of an unforseen sercumstance like a bulk posting or if say the mail centre has hsd a powercut & the mail comes late,but it is always up to (YOU) if you work over,not a manager. tell him this and he will know its right.
