on the grapevine ive heard that part time workers, say on a 30 hour contract can be made up to a full time 40 hour contract as of january 1st.
this is on a condition that the employee has done 40 hours a week for the previous 12 months.
if true, where can i find details
is it in the mtsf agreement and where in the agreement

Keith it's a no mate,there is no conformation on it because nothing even similiar exists.
Well saying that there is a average of hrs worked for part timers for 'and for some reason it's gone out of my head' for holiday entitlement i think.
Someone will no doubt remember what i mean.
But many many part timers work over their hrs for years mate.

News to me.
If a FT vacany exists and is advertised then PT can apply for one of the vacant FT duties. If not senior enough you become a FT reserve.
Im 30 hours and have been granted a 40 hour contract as their are two vacant FT duties and a FT is wishing to move to a 30 hour contract.
