But it's a national split not per office,although the more offices that get the 75/25 (As the NE region is trying to do)the better as it will then mirror the national figure.

The NE will not get a 75/25 split Because other areas have a much higher split.
In my opinion 60/40 will be as good as it gets if that for most.

Before the agreement we had a 78% split (I think) so there actually has to be a reduction in full timers.

We've not had any part timers made up for the last 7 years. With the mess the place is in nowadays i cant see any part timer ever being made full time. Best most can hope for is the odd hours docket here and there or working days off.

The NE will not get a 75/25 split Because other areas have a much higher split.
In my opinion 60/40 will be as good as it gets if that for most.

That would be a significant improvement for my office.

our office is under revision soon,we are a small office of 24 duties,at the moment we have only 6 full time duties,whats the chance of us getting anymore full time duties.myself and a collegue deliver in a very large village we are only on 36 hrs per week yet we can have up to 10 hrs ot,the boss knows our duties are to big,but just pays us the ot we work,but why the hell dont they just make up our contracts to full time

Royal Mail is corrupt to the core - since working for this set up, nothing i hear/read amazes me anymore.

I was talking to one of the gaffers today, been serving as a line manager for the best part of 2 years, started on a 20 hour contract 5 years ago, but when he's on annual leave he get's paid his 20hr contract...... 2 years working 40hr as a line manager - but only receives the contracted hours? thats a f***ing liberty.

I can't imagine how the old timers feel now (only done 4 years myself) - this job is just a blatant joke, ran by too many fucktards who dont have foresight to realise the mess it constantly create's

One a side note, those new Peugeot vans are rancid.

You wait until he gets his pension ... based on 20 hours per week.

Personally I refuse to do any overtime unless I add the 8% meal relief and 11% pension on top. Basically claim 1 hour 10 for every hour excess.

I got offered a full time contract for the duty i was doing in feb 2010.Guess what im still waiting due to the revision or so im being told.CWU involved but thats takinf for ever.Cant believe i have waited over a year now for something i was promised and the management have not delivered that promise
