Missing Overtime

I'm owed overtime since December, Manager/teamleader always promises it will be paid next week
but it never is.

WHAT ELSE CAN I DO

I have informed the union rep, not much use.
I'm now fed up, being used like an idiot.

Is this OT for extra days you work or just for going over you contracted hours? If its extra days just stop working them if you can! Its not worth the hassle if your going to be chasing the money all the time. Why should you work for free? And if its for going over your time, leave a row instead a couple times as a warning shot and see what happens. You wont get any respect unless you fight back!But would advise to pick your battles wisely or you will make things difficult for yourself.

Unless your manager is a really great person i cant see you getting it back after all this time. How much you talking ? if its just a couple of hours you might get it back as pressure

Thanks for this, it's only a couple of hours i claimed for excess mail but it's the principle, just lucky i keep notes on overtime to check against payslips
I've been promised payment again this week , so i'll give it until Thursady (payslip day) then i'll drop a form in on Friday morning.

I waved a grievance form in his face and hey presto, one phone call to who ever and overtime paid this week.
