What ever happened to those motorised HCT trolleys
I remember about ten years ago seeing a RM leaflet showing a battery powered motorised HCT. Looked a good idea but ive never seen one in use. Anyone using one today ?
Rows of houses all bearing down on me........I can feel their blue hands touching me.......All these things in all positions.........All these things will one day take control..........

I believe they have been withdrawn as they kept breaking down and due to their size and weight, needed a breakdown lorry to retrieve them.
Apparently they were never intended for outdoor work.

office near me has a couple being used, but that office has hills pretty much everywhere. but someone mentioned the price of them is the same/more expensiver than the small vans, which have "resale" value; hence them not being rolled out properly

Seems a pity as i was a good idea. Dosent seem hard to fit a motor on a trolley. Can do it on a golf trolley just need a bigger motor.

We are getting 3 in our office very soon, which should be good for the very hilly terrain.
