Seriously though I've not know ANYONE actually get a transfer for a good few years.... RM just doesn't seem interested in doing them.... sorry!

We have had 4 transfers in the last 6 months mainly from the surrounding towns so they do happen, willing to go part time

lad left our office in jan but it was reduced hours and from what i have heared since his move his new contract was far less appealing too

like i say it is only talk in the office but he did agree to reduced hours (he was willing to pack the job in) so perhaps a new contract was issued?

it was a move north of the border, his wife had a megabucks job offer so they were gone in about 6 weeks.
i wish her indoors could get a megabucks offer

Just go there and chat with local office to see what out there. Then arrange a transfer with them for this job. Cut out the middlemen.

doesn't change the fact that you current manager has to 'release' you for you to take up this new position.
