4 day weeks!!!

We have a few 4 day duties in our office.

They work Tues-Fri 0600-1600, every week.

They have every Saturday off.

They take their own duty and 1/2 another walk, but no absorbing.

How do the four day duties work in your office??

We haven't had a 2010 revision is your 4 day week after one of those.

My office rolling rest days,so off wed/thur one week,then fri/sat the next and mon/tue the next.
See the 5 day long weekend pattern?
Oh and 4hr walks.

But like i said we aint been into the 2010 P&L thing yet.

No, it was part of last years summer savings plan, and they've just carried on with 'em!!

Dont really think its fair that these staff get every Saturady off though?!

Our's has been downgraded to a "best practice revision" (what ever that means?) cos their skint!. We have been told, No repick, No 1 in 4 sats off, No vans, no Park and loop, weight still on shoulder, still scope for collapsing and a 7 til 3 attendance

Ours are on rurals 06.00 to 16.00 during the week 05.00 to 15.00 on Saturday , rotating days off MON/TUE one week , WED/THUR following week then FRI/SAT meaning a long weekend every 3 weeks as per agreement

Our dim asked me if I wanted to go back on a 4 day week, said no. It's 1 and half rounds and 1 and half lapsing aswell. Just too much for so little!

1500 Offices = 1500 different systems I expect a lot of these systems are voted in by those with vested interests, that's human nature! Hope the rest of the office was as happy with the choice.
