Should be read in conjunction with LTB 143/11 Election Material 2011 Poll Cards.


And note:
CWU Reps will need to be aware that the poll cards will have to be delivered in line with their product specification.

Similar advice has also been communicated to Royal Mail Regional Planning Managers and a copy of that advice is attached to this LTB for reference purposes.

Could be a thorny issue in offices that have implemented park&loop brother...

Who gets paid for what?
5 There should be no extended delivery overtime for poll cards and election material candidate mail which are covered by unit payments.

What happens if you regularly don't complete these duties?
How do you fit 10+ election leaflets with 6+ D2D....and where will the indoor time come from when IWT has already cut you to the bone??

What if you don't want to go over your time and would rather not deliver the election material, can you refuse???? e.g I don't want to go over my time and would rather not deliver the election material and royal mail can shove the payment up there ass. end of??

I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

You should be the LTB an attachment are quite clear:

All items are covered by the Unit Payment - LTB

We will make unit payment at the appropriate local rate for all poll cars delivered for the election in 2011.

My Advice Print the Agreement and LTB and keep safe - ask the Managers the question and then when they get it wrong bung the agreement and LTB in front of them
