It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

You are either very much in love or you did something really bad.........I didn't every buy her indoors a card (she'd only end up wanting other things  ).

I relied on Moonpig to get my wifes card. They send them out via RM and it got it here on time. I delivered very few cards myself. Must be a very un-romantic bunch on my walk, or like the Xmas cards I'll be delivering them a month late.
I staged a Roger Moore impersonator festival in my local village. There were a lot of eyebrows raised, I can tell you.

I delivered a birthday card today, sent first-class on the 9th. I fear for those poor Valentines' cards.

Handed her a card, Brain training for the DS (She asked for it :chuckle ) and some flowers.
Got a card, bottle of drambuie and a big box of chocs that she will eat as I dont eat much chocolate.
