Anyone know the notice period you have to give when leaving, am on a part time 20 hour contract

yeah ive getting a new job, am taken a pay cut tho, but what the hell its a chance am gana risk, if i get kept on it'l work out better than what am on with royal mail. And i hate to say it but 20 hour contracts with royal mail are just another word for skivvy.

Or if it's 7 days can't you get away with 3 1/2 days PRO-RATA?
Good luck with the new job, do us a favour before you go take RM to an Industrial Tribunal for using such a shitty system of Part-Time contracts!

As long as it takes to tell them to stick their job up their @rse then reach the door. 20 hr contract, if you don't intend to re-apply for a job with royal mail then just walk.
