Atos and light duties??

Are there any agreements or guidance on what can but done when on light duties like, do you go back on your own duty during light duties and do your attendance times change?? or can royal mail do as they please once they have an atos report?

you should get a one to one with your dom to sort out what you can do and not do.but they might say that you have to move shift pattern if say you could not do a walk then they might say there is nothing for you in the morning.but get your rep and health and safety rep in to give you a hand

It's only a recommendation.

go to your GP and get a "fit note". a fit note will list on it what you can or cannot do workwise.
attendance times are a different matter, so you would have to discuss any changes to attendence times with your lino and cwu rep

I was on rehab light duties since xmas. They put you on anything they've got available, sorting, prepping, take a road out, deliver late specials. Depends on whats wrong with you and what atos says you can/can't do.
If it says in your ATOS report that the management have to ask you every week how your injury is, make sure they ask. I never and now after struggling through my first full duty for a week I've f****d my injury up and have been sent home via A&E.
Oh and as someone else has stated, the ATOS report is only a recommendation and managers don't have to take the advice.

It's never been that in my place,what it says is what it says.

I mean,they can't send you to someone independent and then just pick out the bits they want or ignore it altogether.

Ok i say they can't but you know what i mean.
