TOPIC REPLY E-MAILS
Guys can you do me a favour.
In your profile you have the option to recieve an e-mail when someone replys to a topic you've started/posted in.
Always notify me of replies:
Sends an e-mail when someone replies to a topic you have posted in. This can be changed whenever you post.
Can the regulars who are on most days turn it off as it will cut down on the amount of e-mails the board sends so less chance of an error when posting.
The limit i have can't be upped by my host.
As most of you are on a lot it shouldn't be a problem and you also have the View posts since last visit link at the top of the forum.
You will still get the e-mails for a while, what you can do is click the 'stop watching topic' link that is in them.
This will be a great help, and just curious,do any of you actually use them.
For users that are not on a lot,you are welcome to leave it on if it helps you out.
Notify on new Private Message:If you're on regular you can turn this off as well,if not,no probs keeping this on.
Thanks guys.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

No worries if you use them and they are helpful to you and they help you use the site better, carry on as normal if you want to.
But IF you don't use them and never look at them, then turning them off will help out a bit.
Cheers guys.

Mine are off as well now.
Ask your host to look at php memory limit, might help increasing to 16/24/32mb or higher if it's down at 8 or something.
