It's when the blocks that are not full that is wrong,at my place if the quota hasn't been taken then we can have to odd day if we want it.

we`re still utilising the bathgate and dundee manpower squads, the 2 guys from edinburgh- the south african lad and the other boss, have restored some order, but, every single day, most posties need assistance, each having at least one row plus taken from them and delivered by agency guys.
The agency guys are also prepping all the door to doors and we have 6 new planners in, think the want to base the deliveries on 3 hours 45, with 45 mins doing large packets- tracked etc.
They want a return to baby bags , 5kg , and using the pouch boxes too! binning the trolleys, as they reckon they are crap, but we reckon the trolley is a back saver,i dont wanna be bent double in 20 years time!!!
Xmas nightshift is still going strong, the lads on it have been on it since mid Nov, and its not showing any sighs of stopping.
Most staff on Soorting for about 15-25 mins in mornning, token effort, but the rounds will change again, tinkering they call it, we call it a massive input of new vacancies, what they took out will need to be put back in hahaa.
As stated before, overtime costs since implementation were over 500000 uid, bus hire was over 45 000 quid.
They wanted to save 10 grand a month, but it dont take einstein to work out, theryll be no savings here for at least 4 and a half years, until that 545000 uid is accounted for.
