help please

hi all just need some answers i have my own walk for about 3yrs now, but i am last one in our office can they make me go to another office to cover a walk or should they send reserve staff. who are above me with higher seniority.

It should be 'spare' staff only,reserves who are spare.
Unless you are fully trained in a specialist job:eg PHG work ect

It's a local agreement but the guidelines are it could/should be volunteers and reserves..

Working in nearby offices – Areas will identify and agree with the CWU
locally a approach (which could include the use of volunteers and
reserves) to working in nearby offices within employees’ contracted
hours which will include travel times and appropriate travel and
subsistence arrangements.

From the 1st download,now it doesn't mention seniority.
Your area should have an agreement,or at least your office should.
Rule of thumb is if someone is spare then they can be sent.

As in all of these agreements interpretation seems a one way st.
Dare i ask about a rep?

We've never used seniority as part of the criteria in deciding who goes to work in another office. Come to think of it, we've never taken anyone off their own duty either. We only ever send surplus reserves or floaters, and that very rarely happens now

And also...
Q: Will I have to work in different units?
A: From time to time, we do ask people to help out in other nearby units and we will continue to do this as and when necessary, but this will be the exception rather than the rule.

The argument a more senior reserve might have is whether you picked the duty you are on or were you allocated it by management.
If it was management then strictly speaking...you don't have your own duty.
