With the Queen being on the throne for 60 years next year and the Govt planning to celebrate this by extending the weekend of the 2nd,3rd,4th and 5th of June, i was wondering would the Sat and Mon be regarded as non service days, or would they be public holidays in which case you would be entitled to those days back?

But looks like official BH will only be the Mon and Tue.
Diamond Jubilee bank holiday

The bank holiday for the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee will be on Tuesday 5 June. To form a long weekend of celebration the late May bank holiday will be moved to Monday 4 June.
