has anyone got their day off which fell on xmas day and new years day back the so called non service days?

This came up in my office and sadly no one got any days back.
Rows of houses all bearing down on me........I can feel their blue hands touching me.......All these things in all positions.........All these things will one day take control..........

If you kept an eye on this site, you would have known about this way before xmas, and then did what i did, asked for different days off those weeks.....and I got them, moral - keep an eye on Roayl Mail Chat ;)

you cant ask for a different day off your rotas your rota :arrrghhh

Same here you cant swap your rest day unless you take it as holiday :hmmmm

its all down to managers discretion,everyone in our office got there days credited back, :nana but we had a relief dom over xmas period and he was a decent bloke,if we'd had old dom.no chance! :so there

It's not really a day you lost, it's just a day that other got and you didn't. The only real loser was RM.
