Just a quick question for you all. Does your annual leave roll over into the next year if you dont manage to take it all?

You can only carry 1 week/5 days over without written agreement from your manager.

Can you carry over more than 5 days if you miss your leave because you're off sick ?

If your Manager agrees to it, yes. That's just one of the reasons you can give, in an attempt to carry over more than a weeks A/L. Although you still don't always get to carry all of it over. I was on long term sick, a while ago. And still couldn't carry all of my leave over. I had to book a couple of weeks off, just for the sake of using it, at fairly short notice. TBH I'd already had more than enough of being off work (yes, I know, it's a wierd attitude!), but it was better than loosing 2 weeks A/L.
