holiday question

hi just had my 3 months renewed for another 3 months, just wanted to know how do i go about booking holiday, or even just odd days off, because even when i say i will not work my rest day i get looked down on, so the chances of a holiday are slim? the day off are to take friends away to airport so can i just have odd days? thanks

been in almost 4years and im really struggling to get annual leave due to staff shortages.
ask your manager, you wont be able to be picky but if there are spare days/weeks get your name on them.

Whenever I ask to book some of my odd days off, I get looked at as if I've just spat in my linos face.
