Trying to split the office

Our dom wants 2 seperate resigns within our office, as at the moment it is only the town walks that are been targeted.
He says rurals maybe looked at further down the line - so they dont need to take part in the office resign as they are not affected at present.
This is causing a major split in our office as the town walks feel they are been properly f*c!ed by the dom and planner and that any savings made for the office budget are only aimed at them.

What are the proper procedures for resigns within an office?

Is this the same in other offices or is it just because I am the new cwu rep with no experience?

I'm afraid if a duty remains unchanged during the revision it can opt out of the resign.
It's part of the way forward agreement and is still valid....sorry but you are screwed.

However, I can't see it happening but can't the duties that are not affected actually volunteer to have theirs entered into a resign

Ok i never get these offices with different sections but,can a rural dude sign for a town walk and vice versa?
With only having half the office duties in a resign won't it just screw things up.
Baring in mind you cant sign for 2 duties in any 12 months.I presume that is still in?

if they change the start times and there days off on the rurals then that would be enough to get it in the resign it not just the round its the whole duty any way all dutys should go in in every resign thats just another way to split up an office

Contacted 2 cwu area reps for guidance on the office resign and got 2 different answers.

1. Yes they can have just a town repick as rurals are not affected was one.

2. No one in the office gets a repick until the whole office is revised and the rurals could take a year or two, the town staff only get allocated to the new duties until then.

What a mess.

How can office reps get things right when the area reps are singing of different hyme sheets
