I should have known....being "on loan" to another office,I missed the "work time listening" ...the minutes of which were sent to me,under the paragraph "Transfer volunteers" it noted that the unit was overmaned and requested volunteers to tranfer,it then listed the "local units" that had vacancies....beneath this, was the line .."Terms will be available for fuel/transport costs in line with Royal Mail policies"....Being tired of being moved around and after afew days thought i took up the offer and transferred to another office.....when I asked about the above mentioned travel costs....you're guessed it!...i couldn't claim...I had volunteered...I feel conned....good old Royal Mail...another empolyee stitch up!....

Hi...it's about 9 miles......which amounts to about 100 miles a week...or there abouts...

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
