I may be getting on a bit age wise but correct me if i'm wrong but when the phantom shares were introduced were we not led to believe that at the end of the 5 years they assured us that the value should be around £5000? Its just that our union rep got some info regarding the payment being worth just £530 give or take a penny.

The Feeling of being mugged off doesn't comprehend my feelings.

Please feel free to correct me if i'm wrong but this job and the smug arrogant managers in my office are making me seriously consider quitting ( although i couldn't afford to).

Rant over

If anyone actually believed we would ever get £5000 for them which it was first mentioned they MAY be worth is living in cloud cuckoo land. Be thankful for getting anything for them i would say.

Your current allocation is 711(pro-rata at the time of issue) shares comprising 408 shares issued in 2007 and 303 shares issued in 2008 which were until recently worth £1.51 each. There is currently a re-evaluation underway at the moment so the current value is unknown until this is finished. These will be bought back in two equal portions in 2011 and 2012.

You have received £600 in Local dividends and £600 in Group dividends split up as follows
£400 for each dividend was paid on 30/5/08 and £200 on 29/5/09,in total £1200 gross.

The final dividends were replaced by the Pay Deal Lump Sum of £400 replacing the final dividends of £200 Local and £200 Group.

The third share issue was converted into a cash payment and went towards the £1000 Transformation Bonus Payments currently underway. The number of shares which would have been issued is unknown but may have been similar to the second issue.

The £5,300 figure quoted was the expected value of the whole scheme...dividends and all.
The real final figure will be around £3,500.

And my tired brain has worked out that to be about £1600 payed out ( divi's and lump sum ) which would leave about £1900 ( to be paid in 2 equal buy backs this year and next ), so about £950.....but that assumes FTs "real final figure" doesn't include the Transformation Bonus Payments, or in plain English, that £1900 is a best case scenario ( feel free to correct me FT )
