TRACKED PARCELS

Has anyone else been told that tracked parcels have priority over normal parcels? Constantly get told that all tracked must be delivered even at the expense of other parcels. Have RM not learnt their lesson from the BT farce. All it needs is a few customers to complain to the postal regulator about an unfair advantage given to someone else and it hits the fan again.

They can't be 'doorstepped' they can be left in the safeplace and carded as such but the rule is they're returned to the office is you can't get them delivered.

Yep,they are a big priority BUT if you are rolling packets then your rep needs to kick some arse.

In a word, yes, would have thought that it would have been obvious (no offence!). Its like if you have too much mail you leave all the undated stuff first i.e. Mailsort, undated 2nd etc anything that won't give the impression that RM aren't doing there job efficiently so to speak.

As far as I know all the drivers in our office leave them even if the safeplace box is empty.

Was told when busy with tracked and specials do all tracked packets and specials leave other oversize behind.
They remained in office from Wednesday until following Monday before any attempt was made to deliver them.
With the increase in tracked items mainly Amazon even the smallest of tracked packets go out with a driver with PDA,no tracked items given to bike/walk deiveries which means all other oversize which aren't tracked or specials get delayed
Is this part of the modernization?

I have started to get tracked items dumped on my round in the office, obviously stuff that can be posted but already PDA'd prior to my delivery.

At our office all our tracked items have to be scanned at the point of delivery so can't be handed to walk/bike duties however small the tracked item is,just incase the receiving customer checks online and sees its been delivered when in actual fact its still in someone pouch.
