think how much time youll save going round on a moped and theyre cheaper than vans they have them in spain

We had a Moped duty years ago it was a nightmare as they used to load 3 bags on the smegger 
. Ive seen quad bikes in Spain and a enclosed golf cart thing in Florida which looked quite cool

At least if we had golf buggies RM would be able to Re-claim some of it's "Green" credentials. 
Most customers can't understand why we're ditching Bicycles in favour of vans. At one time we were applauded as a large scale user of "Pedal Power". Now it's just "Penis Power" because we're just Dicks for putting up with this s**t!

What about royal mail quads?! Would be safer then scooters and less polluting then vans!
Sounds strange but i think the vans are actually brought in to save money. For each of those drop boxes the council has to be paid a rent to keep them there. I heard that it was £3500 per year per box but that was a random rumour so not sure in the accuracy of that figure. For each new drop box RM has to get planning permission from the council which is also expensive. I guess RM would also save on the normal parcel drivers as well so thats worth quite a lot of money. Park and loop also allows for greater amounts of d2d so thats so more profit as well they certainly are not paying us any extra to do them! If everyone had their own vans savings could be made by moving DO's further out of town reducing rents. Guess it all adds up and the vans would be paid for over a certain amount of years in theory...
