line manager & dom bonuses?

i was wondering if anybody knew if line managers & dom's get bonuses for saving hours in a delivery office? because there is alot of pressure from management at the moment if you want to book overtime for going over your finish time!

no doubt there will be a bonus available if an office is being run within or under budget, along with additional regional premiums for the most bullying manager etc.

I'm not sure if it's true, it is probably a myth,
but i heard managers get 50% of any savings they make, RM get the other 50%
i know for a fact, the manager at my DO, has received an annual bonus for at least the past 2 years, one of approx' 4k, last years was around 6k.

Last time a manager spoke on here the max they could get was 10% of their annual salary.

Don't want to stick up for screws but being as they are so scared of their own shadows the reason they are forcing s**t in would be because they are bullied into doing it by 'their' managers.
The old do it or else speech.

Obviously some of them get off on it anyway.

Yeah, like i said, it's probably a myth,
what kinda bonus's could a mail centre manager get if that was the case ? could probably retire after a year.

No way thats just a wind up. I heard of £1200 being paid out but that was when we were lapsing BIG TIME

This is rubbish at it best, I got around £1000 last year and we were underspent. We are already over a £100,000 overspent due to Xmas and snow. I will be lucky to buy a pint of John Smiths with next years bonus. Also the max is around £2,200 for hitting all targets.

8k for doms 2009 as I recall for improvements.2k for section managers.Seem to remember my manager being pissed off cos he didnt get more than a grand.Of course it might not be the same now that crozier has gone.

Yep, agree Postman. s**t really does roll down hill and we just get the turd at the end.

Also as you say, for some they are not bullied into bullying, it's their hobby.
