Does anyone on here know the number to contact the colleague shares department or where I can find the number

I think the number is no longer in use.
Try emailing them.

theres no point e mailing royal mail they only respond to royal mail e mail address from official dims etc

there was a post on here last week about this and the guy had emailed HR i think.

they replied with something like, there are currently being valued and due to pay out on 31st dec.

sure postman will provide a link.

No they don't.
I've emailed them a couple of times and always got a response within 24hrs.

hr in sheffield even said that was the reason they didnt email me back maybe its changed because of complaints

That is HR only,thinking about it,it makes sense.
CS is different.

got told today by the top boss for the north east that colleague shares don't excist anymore

youre right.

They were used to fund the £1000 lump sum from the P&M 2010 agreement

If you want to know something don't ask a boss they know nothing.

Shares will be bought back in 2 payments, 1 this year and 1 in 2012, at the moment they are worth £1072(2 payments of £536) but they are being revalued so will most probably go down alittle. the only problem seems to be when we are getting the first one, sometime between April and June I believe.

Well he was wrong or you misunderstood him.

The BT2010 is quite clear:

ColleagueShare/Lump Sums

As part of these negotiations Royal Mail and CWU have reviewed the ColleagueShare scheme. As a result the scheme has been enhanced in the following areas:
-
The 2010 dividend payment linked to business results due to be announced in June has been brought forward and the dividend will now be paid on ratification of the agreement.
-
The final instalment of ColleagueShares will be replaced for employees covered by this agreement, by lump sum payments including additional monies bringing the total to £1000 (pro rata for part time employees). These will be known as Transformation Lump Sums and payment is linked directly to key transformation milestones.

Additionally both parties recognise that ColleagueShares operates in a way that replaces our traditional approach to productivity and that only by reaching this agreement and working together to deliver transformation will the value of ColleagueShares be higher. The current value is £1.51 per share. They will be bought back by the company in two equal parts in 2011 and 2012.

So we got the 2010 dividend last year

We get the £1000 lump sum in the 3 payments (£200/£600/£200) from the various revision.

We WILL get 2 more lump sums 1 this year and 1 next - then Colleagueshares will be dead.
