worktime learning?

how is worktime learning built in to our hours cz im partime and in my office i have to come in 30 minuits early every wednesday for it? is this right cz to me im working 30 minuits longer one day each week so how is this built into my time as we are told?? also the managers do wtl on a tuesday when its light then get us to come in 30 minuits early on a heavy day like wednesday? to me wtl is being used as a tool to stop me booking pressure on a heavy day! the fulltimers or phg's never have to come in early? can someone clear this up for me please!

when i was a postie i never had it cos the meeting was every friday at 9:10. My start time was 9:25.

Now i'm a driver, the driver wtl is abt 7:00am, i dont start til the afternoon so i still dont get it.

I wouldnt come in early unless i was paid for it.

Admittedly, I work indoors, so it could be different. But we have ours whenever there's a lull in the workload. It's just, fit it in when you can. But I don't think that'd work in Deliveries. Do you even have lulls in the workload anymore?

Easiest & most popular day for it is a Tuesday.
It should be built into the 318 duty structure of every duty, eg 6-7-30 IPS, 7-30-8-30 prep frame, 8-30-9-00 WTL etc.
In reality and most cases 20 & 25 hour PT aren't in office while WTL takes place, so mainly only FT have the pleasure of WTL sessions and the fantastic opportunity to have a very productive paid 30mins where everybody is keen to debate & share their opinions for the full 30mins

Seems about the same everywhere,but this 30mins was
built into the working week so we are entitled to time
off the floor and if their not prepared to commit to
this they should (imo) buy the time back off us. : (pigs will sprout wings sooner)
