Any Body Managed to get Saturdays off yet

All the things Royal Mail wanted D2D etc,but what about Saturdays off. Any body managed to get any, Not mentioned any more by managers any more they must be hoping they will go away.

i hate working saturday had bloody 15 years of it,so much for 1 in 3 off etc,i am working to time on saturday now,any mail left and nobody to deliver,no prob me doing it monday ?

Apparently 1 in 3 saturday's off is linked to walk sequencing revision, if you've had that then you should be pushing for it

We had the revision last year and have 1 in 3 but only because part timers work every Thu,Fri,Sat....... it suits some but not others.

No chance. Been told that because i am only 35 hours a week i don't deserve it.
I have mon off every week, which is quiet, the other p/t gets tues off, but the full timers get wed-sat off every 4 weeks. Busy days.

I HATE working Saturdays no such thing as 1 in 3 sats off at our office its our SA day (in other words COMPULSORY overtime) which i really cant see how thats allowed as o.t is optional!! Theres always fighting/begging/swapping/bribing involved in getting saturdays off it really does my head in Will they ever scrap saturdays or make them optional i'd like to hope so but i really can't see it ever happening

That would of had to of been voted in,there's a lot of Kent offices like that,pre 2010 anyway.

why wasnt there a -set date- for 1 in 3 off

why is everything tied in with another thing that royal mail might or might not get round to doing
