Ive never heard of using a plastic swipe to access a deliver point I am sure it would be instant dismissal if reported to the police.
We have had problems with access into flats which normally results in the mail coming back endorsed for a few days until they phone up to complain. We then get the code or they soon fix the trade button

The best way to get in is too throw the bundle down and have a tantrum on the street so everyone hears and sees you. Pity will take precedent and hay presto, you have entry. Until you get to the next street.
Easy. Timelocked bring mail back.end off. Not you're problem. The owners of building have to provide a key/code or both fir you to get in outside trade hours( if there are). You be surprise how many landlords/ councils actually do this.

We used to use those plastic cards for flats until the residents got wise to it and changed their locks to something more sophisticated. Not to be outdone our manager(old school) kitted us out with mini crowbars and screwdrivers,he was a little concerned over the legalities of such,so gets us to wear gloves and a balaclava too! All's fair in love,war and...........delivering mail i guess!
