just received letter from H>R> department saying as you are still off sick your wage willnow decrease, rang them up and advised them i had been back to work before christmas they advised me that i was still off sick according to them just woundering about our caring employer,who do they think has been doing my walk for the last eight weeks talk about ghosting.

When you return from being off sick your Line Manager is supposed to submit this information online (Unfortunately I cannot remember the Form Number). It is not unknown for the system to fail to register this at the HR end.

Ask your Lino to a) ring up and confirm the date you returned to work and b) resend the form as well, so it is on the system, otherwise you may find in a few weeks time that it will happen again (as happened to me)

I returned last week after being off for a month and did as above

we dont do a return to work form anymore , nobody does in our office whatsmore we have not had a signing on sheet since well before christmas aslo not fire drill for a least 18 months just shows how the ob is changing they onlt interested in getting the mail out sod everything else.
