ive been waiting for a transfer for some time but my manager will not let me as i am too valuable and know too many walks..is there anything i can do about this?

Yep have a word with the rep and then the Area rep get them on your side and they should help.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
