no sick pay

anyone got any info on sick pay ,if i have had over 6 months on sick and was due to go down to no pay ,and returned to work how many days do you have to work before you are entitled to sick pay again

any info willl be much appreciated

After 6 months it goes down to half pay.

Also the 6 months full pay is not for each year,it's over 4 years or something like that.

yep but if you run out of sick pay after the 6 months,how many days do you have to work before you get sick pay back we have staff that have no sick pay left they have had a few days off in the last 4 years ,

well walk collapsing does take its tolll doesnt it

i thought (someone would know on here) there would of been a set number of days for how much sick you get for days worked after the 4 years full pay runs out

someone at my office had 8 months off 2 -3 years ago, they no longer get sick pay but have been told it will start again in April, it's only been 3 years I think although I heard they had to wait 4. So prepare for atleast a couple of years with no sick pay mate.

If someone was out for 3 months in 2007 and then another 3 months in 2010 that person has now run out of full sick pay.

Nobody tells them it's 6 months minus all of those sickies you've chucked in the previous 3 and a half years.

If you have an industrial accident or illness or you get attacked on duty then the 6 month rule doesn't count,i have a doc on it but can't seem to be able to upload it,will play around with it tomm.
