Hours Changed without notice.
Our office has just changed the hours this week without a minutes notice. I was on leave last week and didn’t know anything about this till the DOM changed the hours on Saturday so my mate informs me.
This is all because of the backlog. When the backlog is clear they will crap on us again and carry on with the revision trust me.
We were doing Monday Tuesday as short days and Saturday now they have made it all 8 hours every day without any notice once again.
I could be going to a match on Saturday instead of finishing at 12 its got to be 1 10pm now. Same Monday and Tuesday I should be finishing at 12 40 now its gone till 2pm. Outrageous!

the same thing happened in our office last weekend, the DOM said we all had to start at 6am on a saturday instead of the 5am it has been all along,
But sadly for him we called down a union rep (as we don't have one in our office) who told the DOM he just can't cahange peoples hours, he was gutted, so the 5am start time remains at the moment.

wish we had those hours in our office! we are all on 7-3 have been for 2 years! your lucky to finish by 1420 on sat

Get the Union down they have to give a few weeks notice for a kick off.

Almost same thing happened in our office,got a weeks notice ,and managers do not tell us anything or give us instructions anymore,the CWU rep tells us everything and gives us instructions ,just another Manager ,except we pay him!!
Dont get a vote on it or any thing CWU Rep just says this is whats been agreed and this is what we are doing!!
OH it dont apply to factory delives ,they can still do the ours they have always done, is that fair ?

Minimum 4 weeks notice of any change of hours, they will be able to implement the change but make them do it the right way, it's hassle so they may not bother :)

It's called Executive Action,you should know what to do if that happens.

If thats a DOM smarter, he should be had over for health and safety. He knows he should bend from the knees and not from the waist.
