The 2010 agreement is for 3 years - The D2D element forms part of it but I can't see the payment method changing much. The only good thing about the Delivery Supplement being in the BT2010 agreement is that it will rise in line with pay settlments whereas the payment for D2Ds under the old system never changed from its inception.

Now the D2D agreement is in I think we have been left to cope with it on our own. I had eleven lots of D2D this week due to the snow and the weight is ridiculous. So much for the 2010 agreement taking the weight off our shoulder.

The limit is 6 but it is now at the stage of who cares. Work your contracted hours. Read the agreements. Throw in your mail plus 1/6th of the 8 d2ds and then tell them you dont have time to complete
and you dont want OT. Have a witness at all times which will stop any bullying. Flag it up to the area rep about your office rep as he seems to be a tit.

I had d to d arrive Thursday last week and we were told you still get 6 days to deliver so as i only deliver where i go on each day 100 at a time i write where i don't go, came back from delivery Saturday Morning Main sheet had been taken along with undelivered marked sheet where d to d hadn't been delivered so don't know we i havn't been to. Manager on Holiday next week so i am sorry they can stuff those door to doors and i will have to take the £22 payment For some reason this manager wants the sheets in every Sat so he can mark them off as completed how can he do this if they are not done (is this so he get brownie points to show the office is very well run when we used to get paid per item we where told it is fruad if you signed the sheet and you hadn't delivered them. I was going to deliver them and do my job correctly but when you have management who interfer how can we do our job properly. I give up and bollocks i didn't win the Lottery this week to get out of this mess.

Work your hours, tell your boss you'll go over if you have to do d2d, then it's his decision if he makes you take them ;)

When are you lot gonna realise the union don't give a damn about the ordinary postman/woman in the street. They agreed for up to 6 d2d in a week. Anymore would be supplied already prepped in an envelope or sleeve. But still you lot are still taking more and more out over and above the agreed quantity. The CWU are useless, and the sooner you lot realise this and get rid of the current 2 leaders, the better for all concerned. Local office reps are little better. They should be in the office straight away stating that 6 is max. You've only got yourselves to blame.

Add to my list of idiots to rid yourselves of ' BOB GIBSON'. He aint got a clue either. It's all very easy sitting in an air conditioned office deciding how many extra d2d to add to our prepping and loads. GET OUT AND TRY IT YOURSELVES!!!!!!!!!

Dear Colleagues,

Door to Door Arrangements - January 2011

In order to provide clarity Branches should note that the previous cap (3) on D2D contracts was officially removed on the 7th June 2010 when D2D was moved into workload. However it was agreed that there would be no big bang approach and that the increase would be carefully managed to allow people to adjust to increased volumes and the individual requirement to deliver the items. This approach resulted in the level of contracts being lifted to 6 with effect from the 3rd January 2011. Unfortunately some areas have also experienced a carry over of items on top of the 6 which has created difficulties for some units.

There is a limit and if you experience more than 6 because of previous weeks then it's to be negotiated at local level. We are told that we do what we can and the rest................
