Lapsing is BACK!!!!!

As from monday we are starting the lapsing again......So much for working so hard over christmas and clearing the office!!!!!! Thanks Royal Fail!!!!!!!
I for one am disgusted at this.....over christmas i was working from 5am till 6pm during the xmas pressure.....and still this week having been booking and streaming as i see fit.....now the DOM is putting lapsing on again.....Will they ever give us a break!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We've got so many people off sick with the Flu that they can't lapse lol. Managers running round begging people to cover walks then crying when they have to take bags out and actually do some work.

Our office is still full of packets and large flats left over from Christmas. Not even started doing missorts yet, never mind lapsing. Also loads off with the flu.

It really does make me laugh that people complain about lapsing, let the managers give you lapsin to do if you cant do it in your duty then CUT OFF. You're paid by royal mail to work from hour A to hour B thats all if they give you so much work that you can't complete thats not your problem. If they say it's a preformance issue and they will test you then if you're doing your job properly you've nothing to worry about. We lapse in our office and if I can get the lapsing done in time then I do if I cant complete then it comes back to the office.

We are not lapsing yet but are hoping to bring the revision in soon and then its going to be down to everyone to do the job properly. If you come in early, rush around to get finished before your time then you will be doing absorbtion work. Its not rocket science the go home early part of the job has finished.

we are doing park and loop and its a cock up but our dim was telling me that when the walk sort machines come in (in april) we will have ips time to spare.so me thinks lapsing WILL come back,but no one belives ms cos im a twisty old bloke (bloke aint the word they use) lol

easy way not to lapse is to do your job properly, make them count your letters including D2Ds, check your prep rate, come out with you on delivery, challenge them, keep them away from the coffee machine, basically just be a pain in the arse they will leave you alone soon enough.
