Royal Mail has denied there was any problem saying that it successfully delivered nearly two billion items of post in the four weeks running up to Christmas, without any discernible problems.

A spokesman said: "I am very confident that any complainants are isolated instances. We know what's in the system. All the Christmas post has been delivered."
From a same o same o there's a backlog news story today.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
